Witch tails~

                                           Witch Tails~

                                                     WIP's She is gonna rock~

Hi all, I have to make this short but I wanted to let you know I haven't forgot about you. I have been waiting for tools! "Yep", Thats right! We sold everything 2 Octobers ago and now I have nothing. LOL I will be getting that tool I need in soon so I can finish her. Yep she is a frog but not just any frog. She is a widow from the Gothic era. She is wise and a bit on the snobby side. She will be here and on the Etsy shop.
I have to tell you all, It is very hard to gather all those supplies I used to have on hand. The antiques I hand picked for my Studio. It hurt to sell it all off. But I am just going to try to deal with it. Being without that extra money to spend on these things can be hard to get what I need when I need it. So please bear with me and tell your friends to follow my blog and Etsy shop so when my creations are coming out they and you will be ready to see.

HUGS,
Julie

Etsy has my work in the shop

The froggets will be for sale in my Etsy very soon.

                                                      now Available in my Etsy

Holy spookers

I know, I know, I have been MIA! Well I have been busy trying to get these headaches under control. Having Occipital nerve damage that cause these headaches can take a person out for weeks on end. So, I went to the Dr. to get some help. I hope the new meds work.
On other stuff...I am doing more Primitive Halloween art dolls. I am even doing some lil' mice. They are such cute lil' things. I think you will like them. I have plans to make goth looking cloth dolls and do some more of the sculpting I used to do but, they wont be the pretty Faries that I use to do, "NO", They will be gross dead looking post moretum  dolls or collectables. I feel that I have this need to create things dead. I don't know why It just seems like the thing I am posed to do for now. So keep your eyes pealed for future sculpts. I have been scowering the net of other artist that are inspiring me to take the leap to do spooky, creepy, gross looking art. Being an at home house wife is wonderful for this kind of work. Your time is spent all day trying to come up with ideas and inspiration from those other artist. I have even made my very own Primitive Halloween witch frog that I will be selling on my Etsy shop later. I made it from the inspiration of Soft in the head. I know she dose not sell this pattern but it is so cute that I just made my own from her pic. I don't think that's stealing is it? Well I hope she wont be mad. I didn't copy straight from a pattern cuz she don't have one.
In other news, I have three other ghoulish dolls I will try to have up in the Etsy shop before the end of the month. But you all should know I do Halloween ALL YEAR LONG! So buying handmade for next year is a great way to get those collections for that next Halloween. Please feel free to contact me about anything I love to hear from my fans.

HUGS,
Julie

I WILL BE BACK IN THE STUDIO~

Yes it's Friday. I have to tell ya I thought it would never come. I am waiting to here weather or not we get to rent a house back in my other home town of Independence, MO. Hopefully we will and I can really get down to work on my art! I have been out of commission for about two years and just have that itch to put my hands back into Clay, and sewing again. I ,as allot of folks had lost our house in foreclosure. It has not been easy and buying a new car too! Anyway I have been brushing up on my sculpting studies and collecting all my needs. I WILL BE BACK TO WORK IN THE STUDIO!! YAY!!!

Doll's, Doll's, Doll's .....

Doll's? Yes you heard me I am back to working on my dolls and prim's again. I am finding myself itching to get back to work. After all our moving and job switching, and living on a farm in Southern Missouri, I still have no studio but the dinning area will have to work for now. I will be trying to restock me some studio supplies. We had sold EVERYTHING Last October it hurt to sell my stuff...I worked hard to collect all the pretty things for my work. But I am just going to have to slowly re-build it all again. I am really going to be hurt'n when I go to buy the Genesis Paints again. That paint is the bomb, but also pricy. I hope you tell your friends to check out my older works and I will let everyone know when my stuff will be put up for sale on my etsy shop.
Wicked hugs,
Julie

The HEAT IS ON~

Well my friends, our well here on the farm went dry...I do have water from my husbands mothers well however. The heat here in Missouri is intense and I can't take it out side for too long. There is Fire bans, no rain, and heat index at 102 degrees. It literally feels like you are walking into a pre-heated oven... that is NO JOKE.
So with my dog's inside and my poor bunnies out I feel very sorry for the animals that have to deal with this kind of heat. I would bring them in but there is no proper cage for indoor use. I am so worried about them.
I hope we get rain. My husband and I are going to try to rent to own a house in town because it's cheap to live in the country, as far as rent! His driving a V8 Dodge 4X4 to work at 3 am Mondays and coming home Fridays to save fuel is hard for me as I tend to NOT like to be alone for long periods of time. And that's why I have animals to enjoy, love and care for, but to keep me busy.  I hope rains come....please rain.

Tuesday, July 17, 2012

Okay, since I last posted I have been very busy moving to the country ( South Western Missouri). Living on a little less than 100 acres is a huge job. My husband and I moved down here at the request of his mother. It was not fun to say the least. Cleaning up after other people around here is a huge undertaking.
So after falling several times down some stairs and getting thrown from the horse I am taking a well deserved break. I have also acquired 27 chickens mostly fly tiers (male) but when they get butchered for their meat and feathers I will just have 6. Don't worry, I have a hunter on the land here to take care of that mess.  I couldn't do it, let alone even watch. I mean I raised those from little day old babies ya know?  We also have three Holland Lop Bunnies one male and two females. I will be breading one of them this fall....so babies will be for sale when they get here.
I also have been doing some knitting, "I know, I know", I do Halloween art right? Well I always wanted to learn and I tought myself this last December 2011. But don't ya'll worry...I am in the mood to create Halloween again. I will be acquiring all the stuff I used to have all over again. Where did it all go you ask? Well, I sold everything with intentions of going to school in Colorado. But that fell through. So here we are. When I get some Halloween items done I will post them up on my Etsy shop.

Wicked Greetings,
 Julie
